Cluster 2 – Culture, créativité et société inclusive
Comme l’ensemble du pilier II d’Horizon Europe, les appels du cluster 2 doivent participer à la recherche de solutions pour résoudre les nombreux défis auxquels l’Union européenne est confrontée. Il s’agit de produire des connaissances qui viendront nourrir les politiques publiques de l’Union dans les matières concernées. Le sujet n’est donc pas au libre choix du chercheur, mais est défini précisément par la Commission dans un programme de travail.
Le cluster 2 recouvre trois grands domaines thématiques (« destinations ») :
- Démocratie et gouvernance;
- Culture, patrimoine culturel et créativité;
- Transformations économiques et sociales.
Les financements prennent principalement la forme de projets collaboratifs : Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) mais aussi Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) et Innovation Actions (IA).
